How do I install the Orbinto widget on my website?
Copy the JavaScript snippet from Settings → Installation and paste it before the closing </body> tag on your website. Works with any platform including WordPress, Shopify, Wix, and custom sites. You can also use our platform-specific plugins for one-click installation.
Can I customize the chat widget colors and position?
Yes. Go to Settings → Widget Appearance to change colors, position (bottom-right, bottom-left, side), launcher icon, welcome message, and more. Paid plans support full CSS customization for complete control over the widget’s look and feel.
How do I invite team members?
Go to Settings → Team → Invite. Enter their email address and select a role (Admin or Operator). They’ll receive an invitation email to create their account. Admins can manage settings and billing; Operators can handle conversations.
What browsers does Orbinto support?
The Orbinto dashboard supports Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge (latest two versions). The chat widget works in all modern browsers including mobile browsers on iOS and Android.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings → Data → Export. You can export conversations, contacts, visitor data, and chatbot analytics in CSV or JSON format. Enterprise plans support scheduled automatic exports.
Where can I find my API key?
Go to Settings → Developers → API Keys. You can generate new keys and manage existing ones. API access is available on all plans. See our API Reference for full endpoint documentation.
How does conversation routing work?
Orbinto can automatically assign conversations based on page URL, visitor segment, operator availability, or round-robin distribution. Set up rules in Settings → Routing. You can also manually transfer conversations between operators.
Can I use Orbinto on multiple websites?
Yes. Each workspace supports multiple websites. Add additional domains in Settings → Installation → Allowed Domains. All conversations from all sites appear in your unified inbox.
What happens when all operators are offline?
When no operators are available, Orbinto automatically shows an offline contact form. Visitors can leave their name, email, and message. You’ll receive a notification when a new offline message arrives, and it appears in your inbox when you’re back online.
How do I set up a chatbot trigger?
In the Chatbot Builder, click “Add Trigger” and choose when the bot should activate: on page load, after a time delay, on scroll depth, on exit intent, or based on visitor attributes. You can combine multiple conditions for precise targeting.
Is there a mobile app?
Mobile apps for iOS and Android are on our roadmap. In the meantime, the Orbinto dashboard is fully responsive and works great on mobile browsers — you can manage conversations on the go.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period. Annual plans are eligible for a pro-rated refund within the first 30 days.
